Founders of the school had long felt that an opportunity should be provided on our own soil, for bright young Indians to obtain good education, in its all-encompassing sense,and for a model they chose the English Public School system for adaptation to the needs of our country. The Eastwood International School, Mullanpur, is a progressive, child centered, co- educational Private school, committed to providing quality education for all its pupils. It began with the pre-primary and primary section and a class has been added every year.

The School

The Eastwood International school provides opportunities and a positive environment in which children are encouraged to achieve their fullest potential. Summer   :   Nursery/LKG -- 08.00 AM to 12.00 PM.
                      UKG onwards -- 08:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Extra Class   :   2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Winter   :    Nursery/LKG -- 08.30 AM to 12:30 PM.
                    UKG onwards -- 08:30 AM to 02.30 PM.

Extra Class   :   2:30 PM to 4:00 PM

GENERAL INFORMATION

Applications for admission should be made on prescribed forms available from the school office. Students are admitted into classes from Nursery onwards. For admission into Kindergarten, children should be of 3 years of age as on 31st March.

Admission to grade LKG and above will be carefully scrutinized and applicants may be called for an interview and written entrance examination.

Admission will be purely based on merit and the candidate's performance at the entrance examination. Admission is entirely left to the discretion of the management including acceptance and rejection. The following certificates are to be produced at the time of admission.

• Transfer Certificate for Standard LKG and above.
• Character Certificate.
• Birth Certificate.
• Aadhar Card.

ANNUAL REPORT 2024-2025

It is my pleasure to share the annual report of the school for the year 2024-2025. The school came into inception in 2003 as a result of single-minded pursuit of an academic excellence. We aim at imparting quality education through the medium of English, strictly adhering to the syllabus, rules and regulations of Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and quality education is being provided through competency-based teaching, holistic, skill-oriented, value-driven, experiential and NEP-aligned education that develops critical thinking, creativity, character and real-life problem solving abilities in our students. We feel proud that we have well-qualified faculty and unmatched educational facilities due to which we get 100% Board Results.

We got good results in the Year 2024. The total number of Students who appeared was in grade X and in grade XII. The school gained cent per cent result.

  • Grade X: Navpreet Kaur secured 1st Position with 96.6%, Bhavneet Kaur 2nd with 95.2%, Ishmeet Kaur & Manmeet Kaur secured 3rd Position with 94.8%.
  • Grade XII (Commerce): Tanbir Kaur clinched 1st Position with 91%, Prabhsimran Kaur 2nd Position 90.8% and Taufik Ansari 3rd Position with 89.8%.
  • Grade XII (Medical): Komalpreet Kaur clinched 1st Position with 86.2%, Kiran 2nd Position with 86%, Bhaika Sharma and Jasmin Kaur got 3rd Position with 82%.
  • Grade XII (Non-Medical): Manit Gambhir got 1st Position 81.8%, Navneet Kaur clinched 2nd Position with 78.8% and Gaganjit Singh 3rd Position with 77.6%.
  • Grade XII (Humanities): Gurveer Singh 1st with 75.8%, Gurmanat Kaur 2nd with 74.4% and Jaskawalvir Kaur 3rd Position with 72.4%.

It is only because of the team work and hard work of the staff, and the whole-hearted support of the management.

To stay updated with Modern technology trends, our Principal and teachers attend workshops regularly and conferences of National and International level.

Furthermore, the top management (Strategic leaders) has taken proactive step to empower the teaching quality by conducting in-house teacher training programs, ensuring our educators remain inspired and professionally renewed for nurturing the blooming buds with immense spirit and enthusiasm. Our teachers participated in the training programs conducted by Districts Sahodaya. We provide trainings and workshops for our teachers to refresh their knowledge with innovative experiential teaching methods at times in the academic year to handle the class more confidently and effectively. Furthermore, we ensure that the schedule of school activities is planned and share with parents beforehand, keeping them well-informed at the beginning of each academic session.

The ideology behind our school is simple yet time tested. Here, the virtue, grace and excellence is promoted in every student. A number of seminars, presentation, rallies and Nukkad nataks based on current issues are conducted from time to time to sensitize the students and community about these core issues faced by our society.

We offer diverse range activities like calligraphy, dramatics, cooking, kho-kho, football, badminton, athletics, carrom, chess, IT skills and art and craft to our students by the professional coaches and instructors.

Our students actively participate in various co-curricular activities including inter-school, intra-school, inter-house, Sahodaya School and Hubs of Learning Competitions. They are also bagging various positions in declamations, debates, face paintings, rangoli, mehndi, best out of waste, cuisines of the world, dances, singing, shabadgayan, turban tying, poster making and green Olympiad etc.

The energies of the youngsters are channelized through sports and games as well. The sportsmen of our school have created a place for themselves. Our Kho-kho, Badminton, Football, Kabaddi, Chess, Carrom, Karate, shooting, cricket, Taekwondo and Athletic teams have shown marvellous performance and won prizes in zone, district, state and national level tournament.

Important days are observed and programs are also celebrated with great colour and enthusiasm. Some days are listed here for your knowledge. Independence Day, Children's Day, Republic Day, Raksha Bandhan, Teacher's Day, Baisakhi, Labour's Day, Green Day, Teej celebration, Janamashtami, Diwali, our Annual Day, cultural forums and community service, etc.

As we look forward to the next academic year, 2025-26, we are committed to introducing more enriching programs and activities. Our goal remains to foster the intellectual, emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual health of our children in accordance with their age and grade level.
