The third level marks the beginning of formal schoolwork. By the end of the year, the pupil most master the first two basics operations in arithmetic i.e. addition and subtraction. Reading and writing (cursive in the second term) composition , Dictation, recitation and other oral work for self expression environmental studies will be part of the regular school curriculum throughout the year. All work is related to every day routine and happenings that interests the child at this age and enables him to understand and appreciate the environment.
